BE100 2023 & 2024
The BE100, from Blue Earth Summit, spotlights game-changing startups driving positive change for the planet. We have been selected for the second year in a row. From over 1,000 applicants, we were recognised for driving system change among responsible businesses and accelerating support for nature from the private sector. We were delighted to be selected by the panel as a finalist.
South Downs National Park launches green investment scheme to boost biodiversity
“The South Downs National Park has become the first in the country to launch a scheme to enable businesses to invest in “high-ethic, effective nature recovery” with the aim of boosting biodiversity. The park authority is working with tech company Earthly to help find investors and monitor the scheme.”
Reuters Sustainability Awards: Product Innovation
We were honoured to be chosen as a finalist in the prestigious Reuters Sustainability Awards - a huge event that saw us alongside big players like the World Wildlife Fund and Environment Bank. Specifically, our Voluntary Biodiversity Credits were nominated in the Product Innovation category, just months after their launch and our first purchase.
Investing in Natural Capital report, WEF
The World Economic Forum’s report on natural capital highlights the ways innovation plays a key role in unlocking more finance for nature. The report looked to their partner organisation, Uplink, for examples of innovative companies and solutions that are accelerating the much-needed funding. Earthly were featured for facilitating ‘market creation and development’.
Finalist: The Carbon Awards
ESG Investing’s Carbon Awards nominated Earthly for not one but two of their specialised award categories: Best Carbon Credit Marketplace, and Best Carbon Research, Ratings & Data. The judging panel was made up of ten experts from across industry and academia. We were up against some of our amazing peers in these categories and were proud to reach the final round.
South Downs National Park to open up land for firms to invest in biodiversity credits
“Once secured, nature tech firm Earthly has agreed to take on the role of credit authoriser to help avoid the risk of 'greenwashing', double-counting of CO2 reductions, or duplications in BNG credit sales, while the South Downs National Park Authority responsible for compliance monitoring.”
The Biodiversity & Conservation Briefing
Supported by the Financial Times, Sifted Briefings are investment-grade research on Europe's early-stage ecosystem. Their annual Biodiversity and Conservation Briefing looks at who is leading change and progress in the race to save endangered species and habitats. We were honoured to be selected for the 2024 edition.
Disruptors 100 Startups to watch
A new award for 2024, Innovators Uncensored spent months researching the hottest startup companies in the UK. Finalists were a combination of submissions, nominations and getting noticed by the Innovators Uncensored team. We were delighted to have made the final list, of 100 disruptive companies to watch, alongside some awesome companies like Loom, The Cirkel and Sylvera.
Most Supportive Remote Work Culture
Earthly were selected as having the 'Most Supportive Remote Work Culture' after we highlighted all the initiatives we have in place to make sure our team can be their very best, from all corners of the world. The _Shift People Awards received hundreds of entries, including a whole host of incredible policies, initiatives and milestones from some inspiring, progressive organisations, so we are very proud to have won the category.
Startup of the year at Retail Week Live
Earthly has been named the 'Startup of the Year' at Retail Week Live 2023, an event co-ordinated by Co:cubed. This recognition is a testament to their dedication to innovation and sustainability in the retail industry. The award further solidifies Earthly's position in helping businesses on their journey towards a more sustainable and promising future.
COP27 ClimaTech Winner
Earthly has won the Food Security and Agriculture sector award at the ClimaTech Run during COP27. This global competition celebrates tech entrepreneurs and digital artists committed to sustainability. Earthly was recognized for their innovative contributions to food security and agriculture,showcasing their dedication to making a positive impact on our planet.
The UK's top 100 most disruptive and innovative startups
Climbing 50 places to #45 in 2024, Earthly has been featured in the Startups 100 index, recognising them as a distinctive and inventive new business with immense potential for success in the sustainability sector, reinforcing their position as a pioneering force with significant impact in the coming years.
