When it comes to
, action speaks louder than pledges. Scott Logic, a UK-headquartered software consultancy, set ambitious climate goals early on and then moved quickly to deliver on them.
Since 2021, Scott Logic have aligned with the Paris Agreement’s 1.5℃ pathway, targeting a 50% cut in emissions by 2030 and net zero by 2040. By 2024, they had already
, years ahead of schedule. Now, through their partnership with Earthly, Scott Logic has built a portfolio of high-quality nature investments that not only tackle climate change but also restore biodiversity and support communities.
"Earthly’s rigorous approach to evaluating and selecting climate action projects consistently reflect and amplify our Social Mission to operate the company in a way that actively recognises the central role that business plays in society by initiating innovative ways to create opportunity in our communities and society at large, and to safeguard the future of the natural environment."

Scott Logic delivers complex digital transformation projects for banks, financial institutions and government departments. But, while their clients are focused on the future of technology, Scott Logic has been just as focused on the future of the planet.
Their approach combines rapid emissions reductions with investment in projects that benefit nature and people. By tackling travel, improving efficiency in offices and embedding sustainability into procurement and culture, Scott Logic is creating a framework that supports long-term environmental responsibility in professional services.
What makes them stand out is how they’ve paired these reductions with meaningful investments in nature, including being one of the first companies to support
through Earthly and the Iford Estate project.
By backing innovation that values ecosystems beyond carbon, Scott Logic is showing how consultancy can take a leadership role in tackling both climate change and biodiversity loss.

Biodiversity credits though
: Scott Logic was among the early adopters of voluntary biodiversity credits, through this project which funds woodland creation in the South Downs that supports over 1,000 species. The project improves air and water quality, strengthens native habitats, and contributes to the UK’s climate goals by capturing carbon while opening up new ways for people to connect with nature.
Carbon credits through
: In Kenya’s most important watershed, this agroforestry project is restoring degraded farmland and planting millions of trees to improve soil health and capture carbon. At the same time, it is improving water security for 9 million people and boosting farmer livelihoods, especially for women, showing how climate solutions can deliver direct social benefits.
Carbon credits through
: By investing in the world’s largest mangrove restoration site, Scott Logic is helping restore critical blue carbon ecosystems that absorb vast amounts of CO₂. The project also protects vulnerable coastal communities from flooding, creates sustainable jobs and safeguards biodiversity in one of the planet’s most threatened environments.
These investments show how businesses in consultancy and tech can go beyond reduction alone and help shape the future of climate and biodiversity solutions.

Through this work, Scott Logic has already
and delivered measurable outcomes across ecosystems. More importantly, they’ve shown that professional services firms don’t need to sit on the sidelines of climate action.
By embracing innovation from biodiversity credits to regenerative projects, they are raising the bar for what credible leadership looks like in the sector.
Financial services and technology are under growing pressure to show credible sustainability strategies. Clients expect responsible partners, regulators are setting higher standards and employees want to be part of companies that act with integrity.
Scott Logic’s approach shows what’s possible when consultancy takes climate action seriously: business success and positive environmental impact working side by side.
